CBC hosts an in-house Licensed Clinical Social Worker as a complimentary service to our patients. The Social Worker's primary responsibility is to CBC patients and families to assist with their psychosocial needs. Patients and/or their families meet with the Social Worker as needed to manage the social impact of cancer. The Social Worker offers counseling, referral to community resources, and may also direct patients to drug assistance programs, in which they may enroll in order to alleviate financial burdens should they qualify.
